Pollination Project
The Pollination Project is a global funder that supports grassroots changemakers through seed grants and capacity-building. Their daily micro-grants empower individuals and small organizations working to advance social justice, community health, and equity. HJI is proud to be a grantee of The Pollination Project, whose support helps us expand our legal and health equity work in underserved communities.
North Star Fund
North Star Fund is a social justice fund that supports grassroots organizing led by the people most impacted by injustice in New York City and the Hudson Valley. They provide grants and capacity-building resources to community-led movements working to create a more equitable and just society. HJI is honored to partner with North Star Fund in our shared mission to dismantle systemic barriers and empower underserved communities through local advocacy.
Borealis Philanthropy
Borealis Philanthropy is a powerhouse philanthropic intermediary dedicated to advancing justice—which, at its core, means building a truly inclusive, multiracial democracy. We partner with donors to funnel resources to grassroots movements led by historically under-resourced communities. And through responsive funding models, we support intersectional justice, narrative power, community safety and well-being, and economic equity—and the infrastructure they demand.
The New York Bar Foundation
The New York Bar Foundation is the charitable arm of the New York State Bar Association, dedicated to facilitating the delivery of legal services, enhancing the justice system, and supporting the legal profession. Through their grantmaking, they provide essential funding to nonprofit organizations that offer clinical legal services and educational programs. Their support helps HJI bridge the gap between legal rights and health equity for New Yorkers in need.
